Description of Services

Indigenous community resource center that promotes the mental, physical, spiritual and emotional well-being of Indigenous peoples and more specifically the urban Indigenous population * monthly activity calendars posted on the Centre's website

Prenatal and Postnatal Health Program - Health, wellness and life skills program for Indigenous women who are pregnant or have given birth and their families * topics covered include cooking and nutrition , early childhood development, traditional crafts, prenatal exercises and classes, home and hospital visits, food stamps, breastfeeding counseling, elder relationships and traditional ceremonies

About Us

Our Centre was established to address the social, spiritual, mental and physical needs of the Urban Aboriginal population of Owen Sound and surrounding area by providing a safe environment for the Aboriginal peoples to participate in their community.
