Eligibility / Target Population
People who do not have a primary care provider and are under the age of 50, or:
- people needing emergency birth control
- Indigenous peoples
- people experiencing homelessness
- people who use substances intravenously
- people who are new to Canada/speak a language other than English
- sex workers
- young people living in a group home or a youth justice facility
- LGBTQIA+ community members, and youth, not comfortable with own primary care provider, or who have privacy concerns
- pregnant people who would like to discuss pregnancy termination or pregnancy options counselling (we do not do pregnancy testing)
- people who have experienced sexual assault (please seek care at the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Treatment Program at SJHC for services immediately after assault)
- teens not comfortable seeing their primary health care provider
