A preschool program that helps parents/guardians and children to deal with problems when a child:

may seriously hurt himself or herself or others
may lose his or her place at home, school, or childcare
has seen violence or been abused
has problems relating to others
has problems doing the things he or she should be able to do at his or her age (these problems are called developmental delays)
