Description of Services

Assessment, treatment, and education for individuals diagnosed with dysfunction, disease, or acute trauma to hands and upper extremities * services provided by an occupational therapist or physiotherapist may include:

manual therapy or soft tissue mobilization
hand exercises
custom splinting
retraining and stretching to regain comfort and function for the hand

Progression level of rehabilitative care for patients working to restore or maximize functionality
