Public health unit monitors and controls West Nile Virus in the region
  • weekly monitoring for mosquitoes in storm sewer catch basins and storm water management ponds
  • weekly monitoring for mosquitoes within neighbourhoods
  • pesticide treatment of catch basins and storm water management ponds to decrease the number of mosquitoes
