The three research pillars are:
- Population health - understanding, researching and addressing the health needs of our diverse population
- Digital health - using the power of technology to enhance patient care, improve outcomes, and drive innovation in people-centred care
- Health systems -studying and optimizing the structures and processes of our healthcare systems to ensure they are efficient, equitable, and people-centered
