Eligibility / Target Population

Adults 18-65 years who have a professionally diagnosed or self-identified disability * must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have Refugee Status * must not be currently enrolled in school or enrolled to go back * must be able to commit to 30 hours per week for duration of program

Description of Services

Provides employment services for people with diagnosed or self-identified disabilities to help reduce barriers to employment and support participation in the workforce or further education.

Services include:

needs assessments
employability and skills development workshops
individual and group employment supports provided over a six-week program
assistance with identifying employment or training opportunities
connections to paid job placements or to appropriate courses and training opportunities
individualized support for participants and employers for up to 12 weeks following employment placement to promote job retention
