  • Offers a wide range of community-based and culturally appropriate programs and services to Métis people
  • Participates in community development activities that promote cultural diversity and partnership development with other Indigenous and non-Indigenous agencies
  • Offers hall rentals to community organizations
  • Addresses the needs of Sunset Country Métis people by providing and administering various programs and services
    • Council
    • Provides advocacy and deals with political issues for Sunset Country Métis Nation
    • Assists individuals and families with issues such as membership and genealogy
    Ontario Telemedicine Network
    • Provides video-conferencing suites on-site which use the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN)
    • Allows psychiatrists and other health care specialists to have a remote connection to patients and clients
    • Reduces the need to travel to receive care
