Description of Services

Supports for individuals living with pre-diabetes or diabetes
Offers a diabetes management clinic to assist individuals in understanding and managing their illness
Services offered:

Diabetic screening
Pre-diabetes clinics
Prevention and awareness programs
Education on diabetes (insulin, glucose and nutrition)
Promotes understanding of diabetes management and self care (type of diabetes and relationship between nutrition, exercise, medications and stress)

Programs and services also include:

School programs and visits
Client support groups
Foot care workshops
Presentations to the public and health care providers
Grocery tours
