Event Descriptions

Bounce Back and Thrive

Bounce Back & Thrive!?? (BBT) is a resiliency skills training program designed to meet the needs of parents (and those in a parenting role) of children under the age of 8. BBT helps parents gain self-regulation and thinking skills that increase their capacity to provide caring relationships and role model resilience-building skills in daily interactions with their children. Then, it shows parents how to directly introduce basic resiliency skills to children, and that helps children bounce back and thrive. This is a 10 week program running Tuesdays April 15th through to June 24th at 1 p.m., Virtually. For more information contact Allison Beauchamp at abeauchamp@middlesex.ca. Or call 519-666-6227.

Developmental Screening Program

The Developmental Screening Program is being offered during the month of May. A facilitator will be available during regular drop in Play & Learn programs. They can meet with you & your child to identify areas for education or need for follow-up. Have your questions answered regarding topics such as: Physical Growth, Social/Emotional Development, Motor Skills, Language Development and More! FREE drop-in for children between 0 to 6 years of age & parents/caregivers.

Infant and Child Choking and CPR

Join Middlesex-London Paramedic Services to review Infant and Child Choking and CPR. This interactive session will review crucial steps that can be taken in the most critical moments of an airway emergency. *This awareness session does not count as a certification. Registration is required.

Kindergarten Caregiver Q&A

Is your child starting JK in September? Do you have questions for educators on how to support your child in transitioning to school? Join us for a Q&A virtual session with EarlyON Facilitator (Miss Donna) and a Kindergarten Teacher.

Open Spaces Outdoor Adventures

Join us as we enjoy free play and adventures in learning in the great outdoors. We will let your child(ren) take the lead in these nature-based programs. We offer a circle time at the end of the program. Best suited for children 2-6 years of age, but children from 0-6 years old welcome. Registration is required. For Middlesex County residents only. We recommend no more than 3 children per caregiver for outdoor programs to aid in supervision. For this reason, seats have been limited to 4 per registrant. Please register for only up to two (2) Open Spaces programs per month. For more information on the Open Spaces program, please contact the Program Facilitator, Donna Fleming, dfleming@middlesex.ca.

Play & Learn

A play-based learning opportunity for children 0 to 6 years of age and their caregivers. Activities planned by our EarlyON facilitators encourage interaction and inspire play and learning. We also offer a circle time (songs and stories) at the end of program
