Afternoon EarlyON Playgroup
Join us in our EarlyON Classroom where children aged 0-6 and their parents/caregivers can engage in child-led play with support from our wonderful team of RECE's. Trish & Kayla will facilitate early learning play and support child-led exploration and interests through mind, body, spirit, and heart. Children learn through play! Trish & Kayla will observe the children and their interests during the first 30 minutes of playgroup, where they will then begin to incorporate engaging games/activities/crafts to support their learning. To guide children by their gifts, it is important that children feel empowered through their expression.

Becoming Garden - Sweet Labor Art Collective
All are welcome to join! Sweet Labor Art Collective presents "Becoming Garden", a guided mindfull movement rooted in Oneida Cosmology with a short film presentation. Refreshments by Aksohts Tsityuntekunyatha (My Grandmother's Kitchen). Facilitated by Artist Montana Summers & Oneida Language Consultant Brooke Chrisjohn of Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation.

For Indigenous Families. Join us at Nshwaasnangong Family Centre for Grass Dance Teachings & Demonstration w. Liam Sands. Liam will be sharing his gifts with Indigenous Families who have children that want to learn the basic steps to begin Grass Dancing. These teachings are meant for Indigenous Families who have children that are interested in dancing. Beginner friendly, all ages of your family are welcome to join and learn the basic steps of Grass Dancing.

Kids 1st Day, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Forest City-London, is a celebration of all the wonderful opportunities available to London families. It also showcases the committed people, businesses and organizations that make this city great.
Kids 1st Day started after a report was released that focused on London’s problems facing children and families including poverty. The idea was to highlight the many wonderful organizations and unique attractions in London that can help children thrive.
Investing in Children takes the lead in arranging a day where more than 50 businesses and organizations across the city offer free or low-cost activities to children and families. The day is always chosen to

Come join Nshwaasnangong Family Centre as we visit the Museum of Archeology London!
The Museum of Ontario Archaeology (MOA) offers unique experiences focusing on the peoples, cultures, and ecosystems of the Great Lakes Region. Located next to the Lawson Site, a 16th-century archaeological site, the Museum invites visitors to stroll the quiet grounds of the archaeological heritage site in Medway Valley Heritage Forest. Here, they can learn about the history and heritage of the Great Lakes Region through customizable tours and activities. The Museum provides a variety of engaging activities, making it an ideal edu-taining addition to any visit. Additionally, the Museum hosts numerous programs and events year-round, designed to bring history to life.

Shoni will be giving a demonstration with basic steps for families w. children 0-17 who are interested in learning how to begin Old Style Jingle Dress Dancing. These teachings are meant for Indigenous Families who have children that are interested in dancing. Beginner friendly, all ages of your family are welcome to join and learn the basic steps of Old Style Jingle Dress Dancing.
Oneida Language Family Class w. Mary Antone
Oneida families with children 0-17 are welcome to come to Nshwaasnangong to learn Oneida language. We provide materials, snacks and knowledge! This class is for all skill levels with the language. Please email Mary at Mantone@soahac.on.ca to be added to our list.
