Description of Services

A recovery-oriented service that provides affordable housing with a wide range of person-centered support services for adults living with serious mental illness and/or substance use involvement

  • Addiction Supportive Housing (ASH) Affordable transitional housing for up to one year as part of an addiction treatment program for people with a long-standing drug or alcohol problem * opportunities to stabilize and establish connections with the community * holistic, strengths-based approach * supported by Outreach Support Workers * helps clients find permanent housing and maintain it for the long term while working on recovery goals

  • Apartment Program (The) The Apartment program is affordable transitional housing up to 4 years that provides opportunities for individuals with a longstanding serious mental illness and/or substance use involvement to stabilize and establish connections with the community.

  • Brooke House Community-based housing for adults with serious mental illness * 8 bedroom group home
  •  
  • Community Homes for Opportunity (CHO) Voluntary, person-centered supportive housing program for people with serious mental illness * assists people by providing appropriate housing and support services to achieve and maintain stability in a home that is safe and affordable * program takes a recovery approach and provides access to support services both in the Community Homes for Opportunity (CHO) home and in the community

  • Group Services Services include life skills groups, social recreation activities, various sports groups to promote well-being, community kitchens, rehabilitation skills building and other strength-focused programming

  • Riverview Apartments Community-based housing for adults with serious mental illness * 6-unit apartment building
  •  
  • Safe Beds Program Emergency housing for people with serious mental illness who are homeless/at risk of homelessness and can be diverted from the justice system
