Description of Services

First Nations administration governs community services related to the first nation

  • Health Centre Health centre providing family medical care and community-based health programs * team of nurses and other allied health care providers
  •  
  • Maadookii Seniors Seniors centre hosts a number of services for seniors including social gatherings, crafts, day trips, Ojibway language classes, home visits and snow removal and light repairs
  •  
  • Native Child Welfare Family focused program that supports parents and children
  •  
  • Nawash Housing Department Offers assistance to Band members to ensure that housing needs are met and manages seniors apartments
