Community Food Cupboard - Provides a variety of essential items, including snacks, canned goods, fresh produce, beverages, hygiene products, bread, baby essentials, and pet food, ensuring support for diverse community needs * availability varies daily based on supply * residents may access the cupboard once every 14 days to promote fair distribution
Advocacy and Referrals - Support services to assist with housing, mental health, addictions, income support, and more * staff will work alongside clients, providing advocacy and referrals to local resources that match needs.
Forms and Paperwork Assistance - Team can assist with completing paperwork, such as forms for identification requests, Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Old Age Security (OAS), Rent-Geared-to-Income applications, and other official documents * streamlines the process to ensure accuracy and efficiency * drop-in or contact to book an appointment
Service Navigation and Volunteer Income Tax Clinic - Community Volunteer Income Tax Clinic operates year-round, with trained volunteers providing free tax preparation for eligible residents * services are subject to specific eligibility criteria - contact to learn more.
