Description of Services

Helping to improve outcomes for children, youth, families and individuals who need support and advancing the interests of women across Ontario
Programs include:
  • Adoptions in Ontario
  • Passport program (Supports for individuals with developmental disabilities)
  • Child welfare services
  • Children and youth mental health services
  • Special Services at Home (SSAH) / Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilites (ACSD)
  • Violence Against Women's (VAW) services
  • Victim Services programs
  • Youth and the Law
  •  
  • Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities Monthly benefit to help offset the extra costs of significant special needs for children 18 years and under with severe disabilities who live at home with a parent or legal guardian
  •  
  • Special Services at Home Program available for children under 18 years of age with a developmental and/or physical disability living in Ontario * provides time-limited funding to purchase supports and services not available elsewhere in the community
  •  
  • Youth Justice Services Provides justice services to youth at the time of their offence or who are charged with or convicted of criminal or provincial offences
