Description of Services

  • Provides direct services for new and established permanent residents and convention refugees, and for refugee claimants
  • Offers orientation classes in citizenship preparation, income tax clinic (March)
  • Citizenship Preparation
    • Offers courses, tests and activities to help newcomers prepare for the citizenship test
    • Free citizenship classes are held three times a year - call the office or check the website or facebook page to see when classes are being provided

    • Folklore Festival: First weekend in May
    • Anti-Racism and Anti-Discrimination Advocacy and Workshops
    • Cultural and Cross-Cultural Sensitivity Training
