Description of Services

Manages DRRSSB-owned housing units, Non-Profit units and rent supplement units
  • Provides access to rent geared to income housing
  • Locations can be found on the website
Non-Profit Housing
  • Providers own and manage their projects
  • There are two types of non-profit housing providers in the District that include Private Non-Profit and Urban Native
Public Housing
  • Responsible for all public housing units
  • Owns 296 units and administers approximately 15 rent supplement units
Rent Supplement
  • Offers rent-geared-to-income accommodations in privately owned buildings
Note: A rent supplement is a subsidy provided to landlords to bridge the gap between the market rent for the unit and amount the tenant can pay based on their income
