Description of Services

Operates four fire stations located in Beardmore, Geraldton, Longlac, and Nakina

Responsible for fire prevention and administration of the Ontario Fire Code

Responds to fire alarms, structural fires, auto extrication/rescues, wildland fires, and hazardous material spills

Maintains and operates a fleet of 8 pumpers, 1 aerial ladder, 3 rescue units, 1 tanker truck, 4 command units, a full complement of specialized rescue and extrication equipment, tools, and equipment required to fight structural fires

Provides fire safety and prevention education

Provides fire inspection upon complaint and request
