Description of Services

College community medical clinic
  • Offers regular physician clinics during the academic year
  • Encourages individuals to continue to see their family physician for continuity of care
Provides primary health care services including the following:
  • Advisement regarding health requirements for special programs
  • Birth control and free condoms
  • Episodic illness and chronic medical conditions
  • Health counselling on issues such as nutrition, birth control, sexuality, anxiety, stress management, depression
  • Health supervision for special conditions such as asthma, diabetes, hypertension, epilepsy
  • Literature on health issues
  • Wart treatment
  • Massage therapy
  • Physicals such as annual, 3rd party, ministry of transport, aviation
  • Referrals to other physicians or agencies as required
  • Sexually transmitted disease screening and treatment
  • Student supplementary insurance information and claims
  • TB (Tuberculosis) Skin testing
  • Wellness examinations
