Adults 18-65 years who fit the criteria of severe mental illness according to mental health reform and who also fit the mandate of needing longer term care according to the directives of the Health Services Restructuring Commission

Description of Services

Specialized inpatient and community-oriented mental health services for people with serious mental illness who do not meet admission criteria to other St Joseph’s programs, or who require specialized diagnostic assessment

Provides assessment and initial stabilization with recommendations for further treatment, rehabilitation and community integration * focus on co-operative care with family doctors and other community providers
