Oversees the operations and maintenance of city infrastructure and related services
Roads and Transportation
Roads and Transportation
- Maintains and repairs local roads, curbs, sidewalks and ditches
- Responsible for snow removal, sanding and salting roadways and sidewalks
- Responsible for street lighting and traffic signage
- Provides and maintains wastewater and sewage collection and treatment services
- Provides inspections for new sewer and water line hookups
- Contracts Chukuni Sanitation Inc for regular curbside collection
- Posts waste and recycling collection schedules online
- Provides household hazardous waste disposal at landfill
- Maintains municipal water system and distribution
- Provides and maintains Water Treatment Plant
