Information, referrals and support on child and family health topics such as:
- having a healthy pregnancy and birth
- connecting with baby
- how children grow and develop as well how to support growth and development
- being a parent
- breastfeeding, food, and healthy nutrition
- taking care of themselves and their family
- other services available in the community
- Breastfeeding Support Breastfeeding support and assistance from a Public Heath Nurse * phone support, office visit, or home visit available
- Healthy Babies Healthy Children Home visits and information for expectant and new parents who may want extra support * voluntary participation
- Know and Grow Line Public health nurse available in person or by phone to discuss and provide resources
- Prenatal Classes Free online prenatal classes for residents of Oxford, Elgin and St Thomas * information on breastfeeding, physical and emotional changes during pregnancy and after birth, parenting and baby care, labour and birth
