Information, referrals and support on child and family health topics such as:
  • having a healthy pregnancy and birth
  • connecting with baby
  • how children grow and develop as well how to support growth and development
  • being a parent
  • breastfeeding, food, and healthy nutrition
  • taking care of themselves and their family
  • other services available in the community
  •  
  • Breastfeeding Support Breastfeeding support and assistance from a Public Heath Nurse * phone support, office visit, or home visit available
  •  
  • Healthy Babies Healthy Children Home visits and information for expectant and new parents who may want extra support * voluntary participation
  •  
  • Know and Grow Line Public health nurse available in person or by phone to discuss and provide resources
  •  
  • Prenatal Classes Free online prenatal classes for residents of Oxford, Elgin and St Thomas * information on breastfeeding, physical and emotional changes during pregnancy and after birth, parenting and baby care, labour and birth
