An individual must be referred by a community agency. All potential admissions are screened by a multi-disciplinary selection committee. Physical health, mental health, and substance use problems must be treated and stabilized prior to admission. Individuals must be willing to pay for rent and food. Individuals must have appropriate local medical and psychiatric support. On-site visits are required prior to the selection committee meeting.
