Members of Poplar Hill First Nation living on the reserve and requiring assistance with Medical Transportation or Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) arrangements

Description of Services
Responsible for processing Non-Insured Health Benefits Service claims and coordinating medical transportation for community members
- Provides transportation to medical appointments within the community for members without access to a vehicle
- Provides transportation and/or assistance from/to Poplar Hill First Nation to medical appointments (doctor, dentist, optometrist, specialist) in surrounding area
- Submits medical appointment travel, mileage, meal and accommodation requests on behalf of individual
- Provides assistance with making arrangements for any medical appointments out of town such as booking appointments, hotels, and completing applications for mileage compensation
