Description of Services
A therapeutic, school-based program that provides treatment in a specialized classroom setting under the Ontario's Education and Community Partnership Program. It supports children, youth and their families who are experiencing mental health challenges that put the student at risk of losing their school placement, as identified by the Board of Education. Supported by a multidisciplinary team, the program is trauma-informed and develops a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan for each child or youth. The referral process to Day Treatment is conjoint, involving the family and the current school system
