Description of Services
Specialized care for children, youth, and adults who have experienced sexual assault in the past 12 days and/or recent domestic violence * services include:
- examination and treatment of injuries
- collection of forensic evidence
- pregnancy testing and emergency contraceptive
- testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections
- HIV prevention medication and Hepatitis B vaccinations
- counselling and referral to community resources
