Description of Services
Health services for immigrants and refugees who are rostered to a primary care provider at Compass Community Health include:
- health care services including allied health care (physiotherapy, foot care) with translation services if necessary
- counselling
- advocacy including help with completing forms, system navigation
- community health promotion groups (Latin American Seniors Group, Welcome Baby, Grub Club, Children's Breakfast Club, Seniors Community Kitchen, Two-Spirit and LGBTQ+ support activities) * see calendar on Compass website for full listing
- help with completing forms and providing advocacy for those newcomers without other support
