Description of Services

The program helps seniors to stay connected with friends and family by using technology * participants will receive individual training in their own home, once a week for three months * training is provided by volunteers * tablets are available on loan and access to the internet can be provided, if required * TAP volunteer opportunities available, apply online

Topics include:
  • tablet basics
  • internet
  • email
  • texting/messaging
  • social media
  • video calls (FaceTime, Zoom)
  • games
  • online safety

Tech Cafe
  • free 2 hour drop-in tech help for older adults
  • one-on-one support to help with navigating your device, using apps, texting, sharing photos, email, internet, online safety and more
  • offered at various locations throughout Halton Region * see website for current and upcoming locations and times
