Ophthalmology Service - eye care * eye surgery to treat conditions such as cataracts and glaucoma
Specialized equipment/instruments used for surgeries include:
Headwaters has one of the shortest wait times in the province
Location: on the main level of HHCC – down the hall from Diagnostic Imaging
Specialized equipment/instruments used for surgeries include:
- An SLT Duet Laser – this is used for cataract surgery and to treat glaucoma
- An Integre Photocoagulation System - can repair tears in or detachments of the retina. These often happen due to head or eye trauma
- Specialized instruments used during delicate eye surgery
